One of the funniest things I’ve read in a while. To provide a little background; despite claims to the contrary by his editor, James Lawton of the Independent consistenly writes negatively about Arsenal, and seems to be the leader of a media-wide witch hunt to bring the Gunners down. It’s not paranoia if they’re really out to get you!
September 24th, 2003 — New York Yankees
With their win over the White Sox on Tuesday night, the Yankees clinched their sixth straight American League East Division title. It looks increasingly likely that they’ll be playing the Minnesota Twins in the first round of the playoffs. Stay tuned.

What a match!!!!!! My PC is having issues, so I can’t give this the full attention right now that it deserves. However, I will leave you with these images from the end of the match…
Ruud Van NistleDIVE celebrates what he thinks is the game winning penalty kick conversion…

…but, it hits the crossbar, and Martin Keown makes sure the cheating scum knows it!

Martin then proceeds to do his best Daniel-san impression from the Karate Kid. What was he thinking?
Oh, and check out this wallpaper I found at Arseoldblog.com- very funny!

Arsenal put on worst display in years, suffer first loss of seasonThere’s good news and bad news with regards to yesterday’s Champions League opener against Inter Milan at Highbury. First the good news, Arsenal held Inter to only four shots on goal. The bad news? Inter scored on three of those shots, and the fourth hit the post!
It was perhaps the post pathetic game played by Arsenal since the 1-6 loss to ManUre at Old Trafford a few seasons back. Inter Milan didn’t as much win the game as Arsenal lost it.
No one player is immune to criticism, as they all looked crap. The most frustrating thing is that Arsenal had many opportunities to score, but it seemed as if noone had the guts to take the shot. Oh, there were plenty of shots, in fact Arsenal registerd nine shots on goal in the first half alone, but none went in the net.
The most glaring miss of all was Thierry Henry’s penalty miss. I think my nine-year-old sister could have put more power behind that shot.
