A twice-taken penalty kick goal by Thierry Henry in the 38th minute pulled the Gunners even with Pompey after a Terry Sheringham’s 26th minute header had put the Premiership new-comers ahead this afternoon at Highbury. Despite a much improved effort by the Gunners in the second half, who seemed a bit out of it in the first, Portsmouth’s defense held firm, and Arsenal surrendered their first points of the season.
Arsenal stay top of the table by one point over ManUre after the Red Devils defeated Charlton 2-0,. Chelski also won this afternoon, beating Sp*rs 4-2. The Russian Mafia are just three points behind the Gunners for the top spot, but have played one less game than Arsenal and the Northern Scum.
Next up for the Gunners is Champions League action against Inter Milan at Highbury on Wednesday night. This match was originally scheduled to be ESPN’s match of the week here in the US, but has been replaced by fishing in favor of Goldenballs’ Real Madrid vs. Marsielle on Tuesday. The next time Arsenal will be on TV here in the States is on the 21st against ManUre on PPV.

What follows is a ever increasing list of bands that I have seen live. Where I’ve been able, I’ve provided links to setlists of what was played that day. I’m not yet finished, as evidenced by the lack of links to the easily obtainable Phish show listings - but I’m getting there. In the meantime, check out the list, and feel free to post some of your greatest concert memories….

Franny Jeffers was sent back to Everton on a season-long loan deal. While Jeffers had a great season with the England U-21s, he still couldn’t get much playing time at Arsenal. The perenially injured striker scored three goals in FA Cup play for the Gunners last season, but has missed the beginning of this season as the result of suspension.
