For Whom The Bell Tolls?

In just fifteen days, the 10 1/2 game lead the Yankees held over the Red Sox has dwindled down to a mere 3 1/2 games. What once seemed an insurmountable advantage by the Yankees, seems but a small hurdle for Boston.

Nothing could have crystallized the Yankees current predicament better than the 22-0 ass-kicking they received at home tonight at the hands of the Cleveland Indians. THE INDIANS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! A team that is 7 1/2 games behind the Twins in the weakest division in baseball, aka, the AL Central.

There’s still a month to go, and anything could happen, but, it’s not looking good for the Yankees.
