PSV Eindhoven 1 - 1 Arsenal

Two sent off as nine-man Arsenal escape Holland with draw.

An in-form PSV side stymied Arsenal for stretches of the match, but the Gunners hung in there, scraping a draw despite having both Lauren and Patrick Vieira sent off in the second half for second bookable offenses.

Thierry Henry’s goal in the first half drew the Gunners level after PSV took an early lead. The goal keeps the Gunners second in the group, ahead of Panathanaikos, who drew with Rosenborg in Norway. Arsenal face Rosenborg at Highbury in two weeks’ time, and will need a win to guarantee a place in the knock out phase of the Champions League tournament.

great blog mate.
Love the look on the PSV player’s face, he’s obviously embarrassed by the referee’s decision. At least I’d like to think so…
