It all started out so great. Patrick Vieira put the Gunners ahead early, and Dennis Bergkamp scored a scorcher to put Arsenal 2-1 ahead at halftime.
Unfortunately, the Manc Scum had a higher gear, and the Gunners were found lacking. In the second half, Christano Ronaldo scored twice, and that was pretty much all she wrote.
What really sticks in the craw is that Arsenal have now gone almost three years without beating ManUre.
The loss bumps Arsenal down to third in the league, and with recent form, I guess that’s all they deserve.
Others are saying, “At least there’s the FA Cup and Europe to play for.”, but to me the League is paramount, and I am immensely disappointed tonight.
