Live 8 *UPDATE* It’s Philly Now!

The oft-rumored “Live Aid II” is happening.

The biggest live music event in 20 years , the event will be called “Live 8,” and will take place in London and PHILADELPHIA. on July 2 to coincide with the G8 summit taking place in London that week. What follows below is a list of confirmed artists for the Hyde Park show:

Coldplay (Despite having a gig in Edinburgh the band are expected to jet down to London to take part.)

The only act to have been firmed up for the Philly show is Eminem, but I’m sure we’ll hear more soon. I have to say that unless several amazing bands are announced for the Philly, I’ll stay home and watch the Hyde Park portion on TV.
