Gold Cup Update

You wouldn’t know it to look around the TV dial, but the US are in the middle of an international tournament right now. The CONCACAF Gold Cup is currently underway in stadiums throughout the US. After two matches, the US are 2-0, beating Cuba 4-1 on Thursday night, and beating Canada 2-0 on Saturday.

For some reason, the TV rights to this tournament are owned by a Spanish-speaking channel, Telefutura, which is nowhere to be found on digital cable. Normally I’d give you all a heads up to do some channel surfing tonight, flipping between the MLB All-Star game, and the US v Costa Rica match, but don’t bother, because the match won’t be on.
