Henry out for six weeks

Thierry Henry will be out for at least six weeks due to a groin injury.

Henry seems to have suffered the injury blow during France’s 1-0 win over Ireland last week, and sat out Arsenal’s loss at Middlesbrough on Saturday as a result.

The captain was quoted as saying:

“I knew my body was not right and I just have to rest. I do not want to copy what I did last season when I played on with an injury.”

Last season, Henry was suffering from an Achilles tendon injury on which he continued to play despite being hurt. That decision ultimately led to his missing the last several weeks of the season, including the FA Cup win over ManUre.

Here’s hoping that Arsenal’s results don’t suffer any while TiTi’s out, and that he makes a quick and complete recovery.
