Giants 27 - 10 Saints

Giants earn a “road-victory” over an inspired Saints team, winning 27-10 at Giants Stadium tonight.

Due to Hurricane Katrina, tonight’s game was rescheduled from yesterday to today, and moved from the Superdome to the Meadowlands. So, technically, the Giants were the road team, and as a result wore their away whites and kicked off to the Saints to start the game. On the opening kickoff, the Saints tried a bit of trickeration, and it resulted in a fumble that the G-men recovered. A few plays later it was 7-0 Giants, and after that, Big Blue never trailed.
