Double-booked at Doubleshots

Last night we all went up to Doubleshots in Olde City to see Erik play out again. However, when he arrived he was informed that the place had been double booked. So, instead of getting about 90 minutes of “Mitchell Music” (I’m sure that’s trademarked by now), we got two twenty minute sets; one to open the show, and one to close it.

Needless to say, Erik was extremely annoyed by all this, but the show must go on, and he put on a great performance, including a new Christmas song which I’ll defintely be downloading, and a great personalized version of Stephen Malkmus’ “Trojan Curfew.”
