Everton 1 - 0 Arsenal

I think Thierry’s look says it all. What the hell is wrong with Arsenal away from home? Everton are crap, and should have been demolished by the Gunners. Instead, Cesc Fabregas ends up getting sent off after being baited by Everton’s Tim Cahill.

They only bright spots were that the young kid, Kerrea Gilbert, looks pretty good, and Abou Diaby got a run out. Otherwise, this morning was pretty much a washout.

Next up is the Carling Cup Semi-Final return leg vs. Wigan at Highbury on Wednesday. The Gunners trail 1-0 on aggregate, so they’ll need to achieve at least a two goal advantage during this match in order to advance to the Final. I sure hope Arsene Wenger recognizes that while it’s not the most glamorous of competitions, it’s still silverware, and he should therefore field a side capable of ensuring a win.

Kickoff is 3PM ET and the match is being televised via PayPerView at various pubs around the country.

Too be fair, Everton are on a good run atm, and the Chav’s only managed to scrape a draw away to them. It wasn’t as much the result, as the performance. Completely flat, no one looked interested to be honest.

to be even more fair: whatever, yashin. everton sucks. they’re one striker away from being the backup squad for “the little sisters of the poor under-21 nun team.”

should have been 17-0 arsenal.
