The Academy Awards take place Sunday, March 5 at 8 PM ET. That gives me a month to check out as many as I can. Pretty sad to say that I haven’t seen any of the films nominated for best picture. I just haven’t gotten to the movies as often as I used to. Sure I saw Star Wars III, Harry Potter IV, and Batman Begins, but I think that’s it. Oh, wait, I saw The Chronic (What?) The Chronicles Of Narnia too.

I am disappointed to see that Gwenyth Paltrow was not nominated for “Proof”. I thought she was excellent in that movie. But like you, I have not seen any of the other movies or performances. Gonna load up the Netflix queue.
I saw Brokeback Mountain at least 20 times and it still hasn’t gotten old.
