I’ve been singing the praises of Mozilla’s Firefox browser for a while now, and yet again, they’ve lived up to the hype. A security vulnerability was discovered earlier this week, and by last night, they had an update available for download.

Did you go to the site to get the whole download or did you get the notification about the update and run the update. The update feature is nice, 761k download verse a full 5MB.
Nice big notification window that also checks extensions.
Actually, I had heard about some recently discovered vulnerabilities, so I checked for updates, and found that 1.5.0.1 was available.
The vunerablities were not “eye-popping” though. But they did address it quickly. I was waiting for the update feature to see how it worked. I am happy with the way they integrated it. Much better than a full download.
