The official announcement for Lollapalooza 2006 came out today. This year the event will take place over 3 days in August (8/4 - 8/6) at Chicago’s Grant Park. Looking at the list of bands that’ll be there, I’m very tempted. The tickets are $130 for 130 bands. Not bad at all. My buddy Dan in Chicago has already offered his couch.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of the US team, and am 100% behind them in this year’s World Cup, but fifth? In the world? Obviously someone at FIFA has been smoking some serious crack.

Honestly, besides Mexico who have we beaten? Who have Mexico beaten? Oh, and then there’s the three warm-up matches against Morocco, Venezuela, and Latvia.
Are you kidding me? Like those three are really going to help us out against Italy, Czech Republic and Ghana.
I hope I’m wrong, but this could be another 1998 all over again.
Here’s the top ten in full:
1 Brazil
2 Czech Republic
3 Netherlands
4 Argentina
5 USA
6 Spain
7 Mexico
8 France
9 England

BERLIN (Reuters) -
Harrison Ford is ready to jump back into his favorite film role and begin shooting the fourth Indiana Jones movie soon, a German magazine quoted the Hollywood actor as saying on Wednesday.“Steven Spielberg and I now have a script in hand that we both like. I believe that we can start with the filming soon,” Ford was quoted as saying in an interview with German lifestyle and entertainment magazine Fit for Fun.
The third and last Indy film, 1989 hit “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,” starred Ford as the whip-swinging archaeologist and
Sean Connery as his bumbling father.Ford, 63, was quoted as saying that he needed “to do a little practicing with the whip” to avoid injuries.
This is the first time I’ve heard that the script has been approved. “Raiders of the Lost Ark” is my favorite movie of all time, and Indy is one of my favorite characters of any medium. I think you all can guess how excited I am by the prospect of this fourth film actually happening.
