In a game way too close for comfort, the Giants took a fourth quarter lead to beat the Houston Texans 14-10 at Giants Stadium yesterday. Tiki Barber rushed for 115 yards and his first touchdown of the year, while Jeremy Shockey had season high yards and receptions to go along with his winning touchdown.
The win keeps the Giants in first in the NFC East, and sets up a mouth-watering matchup with the Chicago Bears next Sunday. The previously unbeaten Bears were shockingly handled at home by the Miami Dolphins yesterday, so perhaps they’re mortal after all.
Kickoff is @ 8:30 PM ET on Sunday, and the game is being carried nationwide on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
