F*** you, Eli. F*** you.

From The Smoking Gun:
Former Phish leader nabbed in New York for DWI and drug possession
DECEMBER 15–Former Phish frontman Trey Anastasio was arrested early this morning on a driving while intoxicated rap and New York cops found the musician in possession of a variety of medications prescribed to another person. Anastasio, who is pictured in the below mug shot snapped by the Whitehall Police Department, was nabbed at around 3:30 AM following a traffic stop by Patrolman Andrew Mija. He failed field sobriety tests and was found to be carrying Xanax, Percocet, and Hydrocodone. The 42-year-old Anastasio, whose first name is Ernest, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, DWI-drugs, and driving without a license. Whitehall is located in upstate New York, just miles from Vermont, where Phish was spawned.
Wow. Always knew he was a junkie, but this just seals it.
December 16th, 2006 — Arsenal FC

Another case of same old, same old, as the Gunners concede the first goal at home yet again, and are forced to settle for a draw, this time against Portsmouth.
More and more it seems like a question of motivation. Playing in what can only be termed as first gear for the first 53 minutes, Arsenal found themselves two goals down at home, which obviously didn’t sit well with them.
Obvious, because it was when Emmanuel Adebayor came on that Arsenal played to their full potential. Within moments of his coming on for the ineffectual Jeremie Aliadiere (Don’t let the door hit you on the ass on the way out Jeremie), the Gunners were level, and for the remainder of the match, seemed the likelier of the sides to snatch a winner.
At the end of the day, though, it’s another two points dropped at home, which seems to be the story of the season.
Next up is Liverpool in the Carling Cup 1/4s on Tuesday. Kickoff is @ 2:45 PM ET, and will be broadcast live on Setanta USA.

December 13th, 2006 — Arsenal FC

Arsenal leave it late, but in the end, escape the JJB with all three points with a 1-0 win over “Plucky Little Wigan”.
Emmanuel Adebayor’s 88th minute strike was enough to give the Gunners the victory, which seemed seriously in doubt after a rather dour performance by a side that saw Robin van Persie, Cesc Fabregas and Alex Hleb start on the bench.
