Just a quick rant here. I don’t mean to sound insensitive or anything, but what kind of world do we live in where the death of a horse that won one fricken high-profile race was the lead story on the 11 o’clock news? To paraphrase a certain pot smoking ex-Philadelphia basketball star, “We’re talkin’ ’bout a horse! Not a human. Not a human. A horse!”
…but I digress.

That horse had more heart and character in it’s front right hoof than is in your entire body, you upright-walking mother humper!
dude,, barbaro was from the philadelphia area, it was the 11 o’clock local news, keyword being “local”, horseracing has had a longstanding tradition in america, and when a local favorite that won the hearts of the local community dies (horse or not) it should be the headline of the local news,,,, but I digress
